This painting of "Ophelia" from Hamlet by John Evett Millais sparked Tom Hunter to recreate this image to relate to the 1990's raving scene .
Here is the image Tom Hunter image "the way home".
Millais image also inspired Gregory Crewdson as one of images from his body of work "Ophelia"
Circular Narrative -
starts at one place and returns to the same place like a circle, Duane Michael's work shows the Circular narrative perfectly.

Linear Narrative-
Is the typical format of how a film or a story works they have a beginning , middle and a end.

Non-Linear Narrative -
A non-linear narrative doesn't follow a particular structure in a film a non linear narrative could have flashbacks or flash forwards so that there isn't straight forward start, middle and end. An example of a film like this "500 days of Summer " the film flits from one day to a different day.
